Edinam, a determined farmer from Akatsi in the Volta Region, began his farming venture with just 3 acres of maize. With support from Nobowa Africa’s Dedicated Farm Support program, he expanded his farm to 10 acres and adopted sustainable practices that significantly improved his productivity and resilience.
Through personalized guidance and data-driven assistance, Edinam mastered climate-smart techniques such as crop rotation, soil health management, and efficient irrigation. These methods enabled him to overcome challenges like poor rainfall and harsh weather conditions, resulting in impressive yields.
His success didn’t stop at farming; Edinam ventured into processing his maize into corn dough, launching J&E Green Ways Farm Ltd. (J&E) as a growing agribusiness that adds value to his produce and creates new revenue streams.
Edinam’s story highlights the transformative potential of sustainable farming practices and tailored support. From a smallholder farmer to an agribusiness owner, he has become a beacon of growth, inspiring others in his community to pursue sustainable agriculture and innovative business opportunities.
With his unwavering commitment and Nobowa Africa’s continued support, Edinam is set to achieve even greater milestones, driving change and prosperity in his region.
